Supply Night - Field Training Uniform Initial Issue
  1. Participant(s):  All cadets requiring the new Field Training Uniform (FTU)

  5. ​Location: Embrun Self Storage, 130 Bay St, Embrun, ON K0A 1W1, Canada
  6. Description
    1. Plans are currently underway to safely resume in-person Supply nights, starting with the initial issue of the new FTU.  At this time the squadron is waiting for approval from RCSU before starting these supply nights, as such the dates are currently to be determined.
    2. In preparation for FTUs to be issued, a new “Supply COVID-19 Resource Page” has been created that outlines new procedures that will be in place, as well as provides an at home measuring guide.  All cadets will need to take their own measurements in order to receive their FTUs.
    3. Once the squadron receives approval to begin running in-person Supply, further information will be provided for booking an appointment.

Senior NCM Course, 2nd Live Session

  2. Additionally, on Sat, 10 Oct at 9am, Capt Martel will provide a quick tutorial to new cadets on how to navigate in Google to those of you who are new to (or less familiar with) the platform.  Email her at co@5cycloneaircadets.ca and she will send you an invite.

    2. We will be operating in Google Classroom, so please ensure you are logged into your @5cycloneaircadets.ca email account as the briefing will be conducted via Google Meet in the Squadron Classroom (titled "5 Cyclone Squadron"). 
    3. Topics to be covered include how training will be conducted, plans to resume in-person activities, and COVID-19 Awareness from the COVID-19 Safety Officer, Capt Tanguay. 
    4. The Meet will be recorded and uploaded to the Classroom for any cadets who are unable to attend and for cadets to reference as the year progresses.

Virtual Drill Team Program, Video-Conference Briefing
  1. Participant(s):  Open to all cadets (and parents of cadets) interested in participating in a Virtual Drill Team Program

    2. To join the video conference, click on the following Google Meet link meet.google.com/smo-ofar-bcq and the click "Join Now". 
  6. Dress: Conservative Civilian Dress
  7. Description:
    1. Video-conference briefing with Drill Team Coach CI Andre Deblois who will explain how the Virtual Drill Team Program will be run; 
    2. Cadets and parents will get an opportunity to ask any questions they may have;
    3. The level of interest in the program will be evaluated; and 
    4. If there is sufficient interest, the program will be put in place and further instructions for participation will be communicated.

Senior NCM Course, 2nd Live Session
