Senior NCM Weekend
  1. Participant(s):  Level 4 and 5 Cadets.  Mandatory: Speak directly to Capt Martel if you have a scheduling conflict.
  2. OPI:  Captain Martel
  3. Date: 6-8 Sep 19
  4. Time: 
    1. ​Arrive: 1900 hrs, Fri 6 Sep
    2. Depart: 1330 hrs, Sun 8 Sep
  5. Location: 
    1. ​Martel Aerodrome, 3984 Indian Creek Rd, Hammond, ON K0A 2A0
    2. **Closest intersection is Russell Road and Indian Creek Road.  You must access Indian Creek Road from the North as the southern access through Larose Forest is blocked.**
  6. Dress: Civilian.  Note that shoes must be removed before entering the house.
  7. Meals: Provided.
  8. Transportation: Cadets are to arrange for their own transportation.
  9. Description: The primary goal of this professional development course is to provide senior NCMs with focused training on the topics of leadership, instructional techniques and planning in a practical setting while receiving coaching and mentoring from staff members.
  10. Notes: 
    1. Cadets must eat dinner before arriving on the Friday
    2. Cadets must arriving on site with:
      1. a parental consent form and;
      2. required medication in original packaging.
    3. Personal kit list for items to bring is found here.

  6. Dress: C2B (Summer dress)
  7. Notes: Show up 15 minutes before your shift.  ​
Russell Fair - Gate Volunteers
1.       Participant(s):    Registered cadets and parents
2.       OPI: Committee Chair, Mr. MacDonald
3.       Date:     Sun, 8 Sep 19
4.       Time:     1200-1600 hrs.
5.       Location:   Russell Fairgrounds, 1B3, 1052-1076 Concession St, Russell, ON K4R 1A6
6.       Dress:
           a.       Civilian Squadron Gear

           b.       Jerseys will be available at Gate 1, if you don’t have appropriate Sqn gear
7.       Notes:

           a.  Please arrive at your assigned gate 15 minutes early.  See map.
           ​ b.  There will be a sign-in sheet.  Please ensure that you sign in
            c.  One adult will need to go to the fair office (curling club) to pick up your float
           d.  There will be a booklet with instructions and procedures at your gate.  Please read it
