Training and Portraits (In-person)

  4. Location: Marionville Community Centre, 4629 Gregoire Rd, Russell K4R 1E5 
  5. Dress:   
    1. C1A - Ceremonial Dress; or  
    2. FTUs if blue uniform does not fit; 
    3. and mask.
  6. Details:
    1. Arrival times per Level:
      1. 1830: Level 5 and Sgts Kimble, Novokchanova, and Rodiles Montiel;
      2. 1845: Level 1;
      3. 1930: Level 2 and remaining Level 4s;
      4. 2000: Level 3;
    2. Every cadet is to be picked up as soon as their portrait has been taken to ensure that Public Health Measures are being adhered to.
    3. Cadets who do not have a blue uniform may wear their FTUs.

5 Cyclone Squadron will stand down on 16 Dec 21 until 8 Jan 22.  There will be no cadet activities during that period.  Regular training will resume on Tue, 18 Jan 22.

Parent Meeting  (In-person)

  5. Location: Russell High School Library
  6. Details: Parents are highly encouraged to attend. This will be great opportunity to become involved in the unit, learn more about  the unit,  meet other parents ask questions, and meet  the CO. Participants must be double vaccinated as per the the directions we have received from the school board.

Drill Team (In-person) 
  1. Participant(s):   Any cadet  
  2. OPI:  CI Deblois 
  3. Date: Thu, 9 Dec 21 
  4. Time:  1900-2100hrs 
  5. Location:  Marionville Community Centre, 4629 Gregoire Rd, Russell K4R 1E5 
  6. Dress:  
    1. Civilian dress;  
    2. Mandatory mask; and 
    3. Bring drill boots 
  7. Materials: Bring a water bottle (use of water fountains is not permitted) 
 
Biathlon (Suspended) 
  1. Due to the mixed weather during the transition of seasons, combined with the leaf-covered conditions on the running trail, and without a suitable alternate facility to train in/at, Biathlon practice is suspended, effective immediately. 
  2. 2Lt Rozon encourages all Biathlon Cadets to continue with their fitness training, of 2-3 times per week. 
  3. Biathlon will resume training once there is enough snow on the Larose Forest trails to allow for the beginning of ski training. 
  
Marksmanship (In-person) 
  1. Participant(s):   Any cadet.
  2. OPI:  2Lt Rozon 
  3. Date: Sat, 11 Dec 21

  5. Dress: C-5 (FTUs) 
  6. Location: Paul-Émile Levésque Centre, 756 Brebeuf St, Casselman, ON K0A 1M0 
  7. Details: Cadets are to wear winter footwear to and from the activity, and change into their indoor footwear once on site
  8. Vaccination Requirement: 
    1. The City of Casselman has safety measures in place that require all individuals accessing the Paul-Émile Lévesque Centre provide proof of double vaccination and a government issued ID (eg. health card or driver's license, etc.)
