Pipes & Drums Practice
  1. Participant(s):  Cadet P&D Musicians.
  2. OPI:  Capt Martel

  4. Time: 1900 - 2100 hrs

  6. Dress: Conservative civilian attire.
  7. Materials: Bring your instrument, writing materials, water and a snack.
Ground School

Drill Team Practice

  5. Location: ESCE (Ecole secondaire catholique Embrun)
  6. Dress: Conservative civilian attire and bring your parade boots and wedge.
  7. Materials: Bring water and a snack.
Biathlon Practice
  1. Participant(s):  Biathlon Cadets.  
  2. OPIs:  OCdt Rozon/CI J Gagnon
  3. Date: Sat, 11 Jan 20
  4. Time: 0845-1400 hrs 
  5. Location: Camp Fortune Biathlon Training site, 300 Chemin Dunlop, Chelsea, QC J9B 2N3
  6. Dress: Appropriate sports attire for the weather (layers), an extra pair of socks and footwear, a toque and gloves.
  7. Material: 
    1. Bring ski equipment.
    2. Lunch, snacks, and a water bottle. 
    3. Cadets must be in possession of their Health Card at all times during practices or competitions
  8. Transportation: Parents are responsible for transportation.  Carpooling is encouraged.
  9. Team Duties: For the good performance of the site, units will be responsible for a different cleaning task every week:
    1. Pick up weapons, 
    2. Cleaning of weapons, 
    3. Cleaning Range, 
    4. Cleaning the facilities, 
    5. Cleaning washroom, 
    6. Storage of skis, poles and boots.
Supply Night

National Glider Exam
  1. Participant(s):  FSgt Nadeau, Sgt Gaudreault and FCpl Prévost.
  2. OPI:  Mrs. Maxwell

  4. Time: 1300-1545 hrs 
  5. Location: Salaberry Armoury, 188 Alexandre-Taché Blvd, Gatineau, QC J9A 1L8
  6. Dress: C3B with no optional items (lanyards, white belts, etc.).
  7. Meals: Not provided, cadets must eat lunch prior to the exam
  8. Transportation: Cadets are responsible for their transportation.
  9. Materials: 
    1. HB or #2 pencil,
    2. Eraser,
    3. Books, manuals, personal notes are not permitted,
    4. Bring water and a snack.
Regional Bowling Tournament (Sign-ups Close: Thu, 9 Jan 20)

67's Ottawa Junior Hockey Game & Skating
  1. Participant(s):  Interested Cadets (up to 30)

  5. Timings: 
    1. Depart Embrun Arena: 1245 hrs 
    2. Game: 1400 hrs
    3. Skating: 1600 to 1700 hrs
    4. Return Embrun Arena: 1800 hrs
  6. Transportation: Bus from Embrun Arena, 6 Blais Street to TD Place, Ottawa
  7. Material: ice skates
  8. Dress: Conservative civilian sport dress.

Regional Biathlon Competition
  1. Participant(s):  Biathlon Cadets

  3. Date: 
    1. Sat, 25 Jan 20 : Participation Biathletes - Cadets who are not ready or able to complete the full 5-8km competition course within the 30 minute time limit.
    2. Sun, 26 Jan 20: Competition Biathletes - Cadets who are able to complete the full 5-8km competition course within the 30 minute time limit.
  4. Time: 0830-1400 hrs
