Biathlon Message:  
  1. The biathlon equipment will be made available on Tue, 26 Nov at Regular Training for sizing.
  2. What we don't have in stock, we will arrange with Region to have available when we go to Camp Fortune to train.

  6. Dress: Conservative civilian attire and bring your parade boots and wedge.

Marksmanship Practice
  1. Participant(s): Cadets who signed up.

  4. Time: 0900-1130 hrs (Seniors to show-up at 0830 hrs)
    1. 0830 -1130 hrs: Level 5s arrive, supervise/coach for shift 1 and shooting will be split between Shifts 1 and 2
    2. 0900-1015 hrs: Shift 1 for Level 1s and 2s 
    3. 1015-1130 hrs: Shift 2 for Level 3s and 4s
  5. Location: Unit 6-240 Enterprise St, Vars, K0A 3H0

Setup of Biathlon Site!  The contract for Camp Fortune is in place.
  1. Participant(s):  Biathlon Cadets, Senior Cadets, Parents, Staff.

  3. Date: Sat, 30 Nov 19
  4. Time: 0900-1500 hrs 
  5. Location: Camp Fortune Biathlon Training site, 300 Chemin Dunlop, Chelsea, QC J9B 2N3
  6. Dress: Appropriate attire for the weather, a toque and work gloves.
  7. Material: Bring a lunch, snacks, and a water bottle. Bring sports attire as well, in case there is time to train.
  8. Details: Equipment from QM, Connaught Ranges and Montreal will be arriving. The site coordinator is asking for the support of every unit to provide staff, coaches, parents and/or senior cadets to help out with the setup. 

​Power Familiarization and Diefenbunker Museum
  1. Participants: All cadets are welcome although space is limited to 30 for flying.

  3. Date: Sun, 1 Dec 19
  4. Schedule:
    1. Depart Embrun Arena: 0720 hrs
    2. Arrive Carp Airport (55 min.): 0815hrs
    3. Depart Carp Airport for Diefenbunker: 1230 hrs
    4. Arrive Diefenbunker (10 min.): 1240 hrs
    5. Depart Diefenbunker: 1530 hrs
    6. Arrive Embrun Arena (60 min.): 1630 hrs
  5. Locations:
    1. Embrun Arena, 6 Blais St, Embrun, ON K0A 1W0
    2. Carp Airport, 1500 Thomas Argue Rd, Carp, ON K0A 1L0
      1. This address is on the West side of the airport, and is accessed from March Rd.
      2. If drivers attempt to follow signs and enter via Carp rd, they will find themselves on the wrong side of the airport, and unable to access the correct building.

  6. Transportation: Bus from and to Embrun Arena
  7. Dress: Conservative civilian dress suitable for the outdoors.  Bring a toque and gloves.

Supply Night 
  1. Participant(s):  Cadet who need a uniform part replaced or new uniform
  2. OPI:  OCdt Rozon
  3. Date:  Mon, 2 Dec 19
  4. Time: 1830-2030 hrs
  5. ​Location: Embrun Self Storage, 130 Bay St, Embrun, ON K0A 1W1, Canada
  6. Note: Contact OCdt Rozon at 613-818-3348 to gain access to the compound.

​Christmas Dinner Parent Volunteers
  1. Participant(s):  All Parents
  2. OPI:  Mrs. Tammy Somers
  3. Date: Sat, 7 Dec
  4. Time:  Various shifts from 1000 - 2300 hrs 
  5. Notes:  We require more parent volunteers to help to ensure that the cadet Christmas dinner is a success again this year.  We need help with:
    1. Food Prep 1000-1400 (please bring an apron if possible)
    2. Food Prep 1400-1800 (please bring an apron if possible)
    3. Serving 1700-2100 (please wear black pants and a white button up shirt)
    4. Cleanup 1900-2300

Christmas Dinner and Dance
  1. Participant(s):  All Cadets (guests welcome at 2000hrs).
  2. OPI:  TBD 
  3. Date: Sat, 7 Dec 19
  4. Timings:
    1. 1730hrs - Cadets Arrive
    2. 1800hrs - Dinner
    3. 2000hrs - Dance
    4. 2230hrs - Pick-up
  5. Location: Limoges Community Centre, 205 Limoges Rd, Limoges, ON K0A 2M0
  6. Dress: Semi-formal civilian dress
  7. Cost: Free with a donation to the food bank (cash or non-perishable food item).  Look at the food this list from the Food Bank.
  8. ​Donations for the Dinner: The Sponsoring Committee(SC) is requesting cash donations to help off-set the cost of the dinner.  This will allow the SC to buy bulk food resulting in monetary and packaging savings.
    1. Donations are accepted any Tuesday until the dinner
    2. Tax receipts will be issued for any donation of $10 or more
    3. Any excess funds raised will be donated to the food bank.
  9. ​Guests: Cadets are permitted to invite one (1) guest to the dance portion.  The guest must arrive at 8:00PM and have a signed "Guest Permission Form" in order to attend.
