Squadron Hours: 
  1. Squadron official hours are 1830 - 2130hrs, on Tuesday nights. 
  2. If there is an urgent matter, call Capt Martel at 613-791-1008.

COVID Case Reporting: Cadets who receive a positive COVID test result must contact Capt Martel as soon as possible at 613-791-1008 or email. 

COVID-19 Screening: 
  1. Prior to leaving home, each cadet must complete this COVID-19 Screening;
  2. If the screening result is “go to school/childcare,” go to Squadron Training;
  3. Otherwise, stay home and advise Admin by filling out this form.

Cadet365 - Level 3/4/5 Onboarding 
  1. Participants - Level 3+

  3. Level 3-5 cadets have been emailed their Cadet365 login credentials and are to activate their accounts by 12 Apr 22.

Regular Training Night (In-person) 
  1. Participant(s): All Cadets
  2. OPI: Capt Willis 
  3. Date: Tue, 12 Apr 22
  4. Time: 1900-2100hrs
  5. Location: 
    1. All cadets in all levels: École secondaire catholique Embrun 1276 St Jacques Rd, Embrun, ON K0A 1W0
    2. Upon arrival, parents are to park and stay in their car. 
    3. Cadets are to use the rear entrance.
  6. Dress:  
    1. Field Training Uniform (FTU) with wedge and mask; or
    2. White shirt and dark colored pants and mask if the cadet hasn’t been issued FTUs
  7. Materials:  
    1. Bring writing materials such as a pen and notebook; and
    2. Bring a water bottle (use of water fountains is not permitted).
  8. Parents: If parents have questions, staff members will be available in the parking lot to answer them.
  9. Questions: Write to your level officer by clicking on their name:  
    1. Level 1: Lt Rozon (Newly registered cadets are in level 1)

    1. Civilian dress; 
    2. Mandatory mask; and
    3. Bring drill boots
  7. Materials: Bring a water bottle (use of water fountains is not permitted)

Personal Development Sessions  
  1. Participant(s): Interested cadets in Level 5
  2. OPI: Capt Willis 
  3. Date: Wed, 20 Apr 22
  4. Time: 1845-2000hrs
  5. Location: MS Teams
  6. Dress: FTUs
  7. Details:
    1. Session on developing resumes and cover letters.
    2. Level 5 Cadets who register will be emailed a link to each MS Teams meeting.
    3. These sessions are completely optional, but available to any Level 5 who wishes to attend. 
  8. To Register: Interested Level 5 cadets shall write to Capt Willis.​

Marksmanship (In-person): Next practice is 23 Apr 22.

Spring FTX (In-person) 
  1. Participant(s): All Cadets - MANDATORY
  2. OPI: Lt Rozon
  3. Dates: Sat, 30 Apr 22 and Sun, 1 May 22 
  4. Time:
    1. Drop off at 0745hrs at Embrun Arena 6 Blais Road, Embrun BOTH DAYS
    2. Pickup at 1745hrs at Embrun Arena 6 Blais Road, Embrun BOTH DAYS
  5. Dress: C-5 (FTUs) or equivalent civilian dress.
  6. Location: MacSkimming Pioneer Village, 3685 Wilhaven Dr, Cumberland, ON K4C 1J7

Level 1 Summer Training - Cadet Activities Program (CAP) (In-person)
  1. Participant(s): Level 1 Cadets 
  2. OPI: Capt Pascal
  3. Dates: 
    • July 4-8th, 2022;
    • July 11-15th, 2022;
    • July 18-22nd, 2022; or
    • July 22-29th, 2022. 
  4. Time: To be determined. 
  5. Location: To be determined.
  6. Details: 
    • The CAP for Level 1 Cadets is a 5-day experience that allows cadets opportunities to build confidence and meet other cadets through participation in fun, safe, challenging, and well-organized activities in the Ottawa Area. Cadet participants are generally aged 12-13 and are about to enter their second year of training at a corps/squadron. 
    • If you wish to register for a sessions please contact 5aviation@cadets.gc.ca indicating which session you wish to register for. April 26th, 2022 will be the last day to register. Questions are to be directed to 5aviation@cadets.gc.ca

Level 2 Summer Training - Cadet Activities Program (CAP) (In-person)
  1. Participant(s): Level 2 Cadets
  2. OPI: Capt Pascal
  3. Dates: July 4-15, 2022 
  4. Time: To be determined. 
  5. Location: To be determined.
  6. Details: 
    • The CAP for Level 2 Cadets is 12-day experience that allows cadets opportunities to build leadership and interpersonal skills through participation in fun, safe, challenging, and well-organized activities in the Ottawa Area. Cadet participants are generally aged 13-14 and are about to enter their third year of training at a corps/squadron.  This training will take place from. Further details will follow.
    • Registration and/or questions are to be directed to 5aviation@cadets.gc.ca. The last day to register is April 26th, 2022. 

CO 5k Challenge (In-person)
