Supply Night: Next supply night Mon, 09 March

Regular Training Night

First Night of Portraits

  7. Notes: Portraits will be taken of every cadet and parents will have the opportunity to purchase photo packages as a fundraiser for the squadron. Portraits will be done on two (2) nights, 03 Mar and 10 Mar, with retakes in April.

Parent and committee meeting

  6. Dress: Conservative civilian attire and bring your parade boots and wedge.
  7. Materials: Bring water and a snack.

Biathlon Practice
  1. Participant(s):  Biathlon Team only
  2. OPI: CI Gagnon J
  3. Date: Sat, 7 March 20
  4. Timings:
    1. Drop-Off: 1300hrs
    2. Pick-Up: 1600hrs
  5. Location: Area P7 at Larose Forest, 4368 Indian Creek rd, Clarence-Rockland. 
  6. Dress: Appropriate sports attire for the weather (layers), an extra pair of socks and footwear, a toque and gloves.
  7. Material: 
    1. Bring ski equipment.
    2. Bring snacks and a water bottle. 
    3. If cadets need any equipment they need to put in a supply request ASAP.
  8. Transportation: Parents are responsible for transportation.  Carpooling is encouraged.

Inter-Flight Sports Competition and Movie Day
  1. Participant(s):  All cadets

  4. Time: 0930-1630 hrs 
  5. Location: North Dundas District High School 12835 County Rd 43, Chesterville, ON K0C 1H0
  6. Dress: Appropriate Sports Clothing
  7. Materials: All must bring a lunch and water bottle
  8. Transportation: Parents are responsible for transportation. Carpooling is encouraged.

OP Midnight Madness
  1. Participant(s):  All cadets
  2. OPI: CI Dion
  3. OIC: Capt Tanguay
  4. Date: Tue, 17 Mar 20 - Wed, 18 Mar 20
  5. Timings:
        Drop-Off: 17 Mar 20 @ 1500 hrs
        Pick-Up: 18 Mar 20 @ 0800 hrs
  6. Location: Embrun arena, 6 Blais St, Embrun, ON K0A 1W0
  7. Dress: Appropriate Sports Clothing
  8. Notes: Appropriate civilian attire for the tour of the Senate and bring a change of clothes (appropriate relaxed sports attire) for the Laser Quest. Large bags are not permitted during the Senate tour and will be left on the bus during that time. 
  9. Materials: Bring money for souvenirs and snacks at Laser Quest as appropriate. Bring snacks and a water bottle. Registrations are open via the squadron website and close on Thursday 12 Mar 20 @ 2359hrs.

Marksmanship Championship
  1. Participant(s):  Sgt Atkinson, Cpl Beauchemin, FCpl Choiniere-Belanger, Cpl Laurin, Sgt Lemay, WO2 Sheridan, FCpl Weiher, Sgt Yakabuski.  Spare: Sgt Furlong, Sgt Willis
  2. OPI: OCdt Rozon
  3. Coach: CI J Gagnon
  4. Date: Sat, 14 Mar 20
  5. Time: 0815-1700 hrs 
  6. Location: Jean-Marc Lalonde Arena, 450 Du Parc Ave, Rockland, ON K4K 1C3
  7. Dress: Conservative civilian dress, comfortable and suitable for a cold indoor environment
  8. Meals: 
    1. Participants are responsible for bringing a lunch and water bottle.  
    2. Alternatively, the canteen will be offering 2 hot dogs, a bag of chips and a pop/water for $5.  
  9. Transportation: Parents are responsible for transportation. Carpooling is encouraged.

Trivia Night
  1. Participant(s):  Public
  2. OPI:  Mr. MacDonald
  3. Date: Sat, 28 Mar 20
  4. Timings: 1900hrs
  5. Location: Russell Arena

  7. Description: 2nd annual trivia night on support of 5 Cyclone.  We are in need of:
  8. Attendees: we have 13 tables left.  Put together a team of six or contact us and we will add you to one.  Tickets are $10 each.  Come have some fun, meet some parents and support 5.
  9. Auction items: if you or somebody you know wants some exposure for their business while supporting a great cause let us know.
  10. Volunteers:  we require people to help setup and teardown
