This year during March Break, a series of challenging and exciting local activities are organized for the Ottawa area Air Cadet Squadrons. These day activities will take place  from 15 to 19 March inclusively. Cadets will join the activity every morning and return home by late afternoon.

Although these activities are open to all cadets, priority will be given to junior cadets and those new to our squadron.

Each cadet signing up is expected to attend all 5 days of the program.

Additional details:

* Transport: Cadets will need to be dropped off in the morning at a centralized location to meet at the designated assembly site and will need to be picked up in the afternoon at the same location after the activity.
* Food: Cadets will be responsible to provide their own lunch.
* COVID19: Cadets will have to complete a COVID self-assessment every morning. Cadets will need to wear a Non-Medical Mask (NMM) at all times. All regional and provincial health regulations will be strictly enforced as required by the Public Health Office.
* Dress: Dress is appropriate civilian attire. Dress warmly if outdoors.
* Cost: There is no cost to participate, however, space is limited.

The in-person activities offered are:

Day 1:  Welcome (AM) and Outdoor activities at Arbraska Laflèche (PM)
Day 2:  Canadian War Museum (AM) and Speaker - Astronaut David St-Jacques (PM)
Day 3:  Cdn Space and Aviation Museum (AM) and Speaker - Rower, Mylène Paquette (PM)
Day 4: Museum of War (AM) and Speaker - Adventurer Frédéric Dion (PM)
Day 5: Take up the Challenge (AM) and Final Results of the Week’s Challenges (PM)

Due to the pandemic, the schedule may change, however, registrations are now open.

Alternatively, if in-person activities are not permitted, online courses will also be offered.

Registration deadline is Saturday 13 February 2021 at 2359 hrs.
