Squadron Hours: 

• The squadron’s official hours are 1830--2100 hrs, on Tuesday nights. 
• If there is an urgent matter outside of these hours that requires immediate and prompt attention and cannot wait until the following Tuesday, call the squadron at 613-704-9284 and leave a message. Your call will be returned within 24 hours.

1. Darts Tournament: 
   1. Please join us Saturday, February 3rd at Solly’s Bar in Limoges (126 Ottawa St, Limoges, ON K0A 2M0) for a darts tournament in support of the squadron! 
   2. Chilli and snacks will be available for $5. Registration will begin at 12 noon and close at 12:45. Teams of 3, $45/team or $15/person. To pre-register, email Karen at [email protected].

Effective Speaking

   1. To provide an opportunity for Air Cadets to increase their self-confidence; and increase their ability to reason, organize and express ideas;  
   2. To promote the citizenship component of local squadron training;  
   3. To provide a focus at the Local, Regional/Wing, Provincial/Territorial, and National levels, to promote and encourage Air Cadets to participate in an optional activity that will provide them with an opportunity to acquire effective speaking skills through instruction and practice in a structured and competitive environment;  
   4. To increase public awareness regarding the citizenship and leadership aspects of the Air Cadet program at the national, provincial and local levels.

   1. Cadets will be transported via bus to and from Air-Eau-Bois 
6. Dress: C5 FTU with issued parka, gloves, and tuque.

   1. Cadets will be grouped by age for the exercise. Cadets aged 13-14 will be participating in the Snow Challenge and Cadets aged 15-16 will be participating in the Ice Challenge. 
   2. Cadets will be outside for the duration of the weekend.

   1. 5 Cyclone, in conjunction with 832 Twilick Squadron, will be participating in an Emergency First Aid course.  
   2. Both squadrons can send up to 18 cadets, for a course total of 36.  
   3. At the end of the day, cadets will be qualified Emergency First Aiders and eligible to wear the corresponding badge on their uniform.
