5. Location: Meet at the front flag of the Green Corral near Booth Street and the Sir John A. MacDonald Parkway.  Note that traffic may be heavy due to the race and to plan extra time to navigate the streets and pedestrians.  Parking will be difficult to find near the race location.  Find race map here.

   1. Navigating 5 Cyclone as a parent can be confusing.  We will be hosting an information session to help new and existing parents to navigate it.  Come find out what to expect as a parent, where to find resources, to ask questions and to find out what parents can do to help your cadet(s) to get the most out of 5 Cyclone.
   2. All parents are encouraged to attend.

​Local Flavours Rendez-Vous

   1. Russell Township will be holding their 4th annual Local Flavours Rendez-Vous event on October 26 from 4pm until 10pm.  This is a great opportunity to experience some of the amazing local beer, wine and food that is available in the region.  This year 5 Cyclone has been selected to receive the proceeds for this event.
   2. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased on Tuesday evenings from a member of the sponsoring committee or by contacting [email protected].  I encourage all parents to support the squadron by enjoying an evening at this event while our cadets are enjoying their evening at FTX.
