Squadron Hours:  

1. Squadron official hours are 1830 - 2130hrs, on Tuesday nights.  
2. ​If there is an urgent matter outside of these hours that requires immediate and prompt attention, call the Commanding Officer, Capt Willis, at 613-898-3616. 

 
COVID Case Reporting: Cadets who receive a positive COVID test result must contact Capt Willis as soon as possible at 613-898-3616 or via email.  
 
COVID-19 Screening:  

1. Prior to leaving home, each cadet must complete this COVID-19 Screening; 
2. If the screening result is “go to school/childcare,” go to Squadron Training; 
3. Otherwise, stay home and advise Admin by filling out this form.

New Cadet Information and Registration Session (In-person)  

1. Participant(s): All newly registered cadets, or youth who wish to register, and their parents/guardians.

4. Time: 1900-2000hrs (7-8pm)

6. Details: 
   1. Navigating 5 Cyclone when you’re new to the unit can be confusing. We will be hosting an information session to help new cadets and their parents/guardians to navigate it. Come find out what to expect as a parent/guardian and a cadet, where to find resources, to ask questions and to find out what parents/guardians can do to help your cadet(s) to get the most out of 5 Cyclone. 
   2. All parents/guardians of new cadets are encouraged to attend.

Regular Training Night (In-person)  

1. Participant(s): All Cadets 
2. OPI: Lt Lussier 
3. Date: Tue, 13 Sept 22 
4. Time: 1845-2100 hrs 
5. Location:  
   1. École secondaire catholique Embrun 1276 St Jacques Rd, Embrun, ON K0A 1W0 
   2. Cadets are to use the rear entrance. 
6. Dress:   
   1. Field Training Uniform (FTU) with beret; or 
   2. White shirt and dark coloured pants and mask if the cadet hasn’t yet been issued FTUs 
7. Details:    
   1. COVID-19 Screening:  
      1. Prior to leaving home, each cadet must complete this COVID-19 Screening; 
      2. If the screening result is “go to school/child care”, go to Squadron Training; 
      3. Otherwise, stay home and advise Admin by filling out this form. 
8. Materials:   
   1. Bring writing materials such as a pen and notebook; and 
   2. Bring a water bottle (use of water fountains is not permitted).

   2. Those who have some are encouraged to wear squadron gear.
7. Details:  
   1. A bus will be provided. 
      1. ​Cadets must arrive at the Embrun Arena (6 Blais St, Embrun, ON K0A 1W0) NLT 0745hrs.
      2. The bus will return to the Embrun Arena for 1745hrs.
   2. Cadets must bring a lunch, or money to purchase one from the food vendors on site. 
   3. Sign-ups are now closed.

   2. Appropriate athletic attire for an afternoon outside with a mask for the bus. 
7. Details:  
   1. Bus will depart from and return to the Embrun Arena (6 Blais St, Embrun, ON K0A 1W0). 
      1. Cadets must arrive at the Arena NLT 1145hrs.
      2. The bus will return at approximately 1730hrs.

Visit to Canadian Museum of History (In-person)
